More Than Meets The Eye

Are We Really Paying Attention
There's more than meets the eye

Our 2012 Fall political season is in full bloom. I love the Ideal
our Country strives to be and applaud the efforts big and small of those who came before. Their efforts allows me the freedom to voice my opinion. Also, I am very grateful to be aware I have an opinion.
Unfortunately all too often, we, you and me are presented with out right lies and deplorable behaviors unbecoming our Political and Religious Leaders. Our children are expected to overlook poor behavior because it's "just political" words, a game. When did we lose our grip on honesty and integrity to coded racial negativity, where arrogant and bigoted messages inflame.
Voter suppression with its current anti-American view of "We The People" will negativity impact and restrict the freedoms and civil liberties of a group of Americans. Is it Racism at work here? Is it Capitalism's over reaching hand into our American Democracy, since the Status Quo are still in culture shock over skin color? Does Capitalism and Religion's have a strangle-hold on Democracy? Is Capitalism showing its dark side of Greed and Prejudice? While the Dark side of Religions shows us examples of "self-righteous" Egos and Bigotry directed towards those unlike themselves. “Prejudice is an emotional commitment to ignorance.”
Capitalism's richest have propped up a Peter Principled front man for the benefit of establishing a Plutocracy style government - an Apartheid America. After all the intellectual language you can stand, notice the cloaked back story, the real reality show around the November 2012 elections. Accepting the senatorial words spoken in boastful pride, is about getting that "black man" out of the White House! No matter the cost, no matter what!
This2012Presidential election, oozes RACISM, bigotry, prejudice, and skin color discrimination. The political affects of this presidential race is personal. (in the late Arthur Ashe's words: "Being African American in America was far more difficult forme toendure than having AIDS." (AIDS, a condition Ashe received from tainted blood during heart surgery.)
For others, it's a reckoning for the many generations who endured with strength of character. Yet, their names and contributions dismissed and omitted from text books given to our children, the factual American History taught in our public schools for the most part is erroneous information approved by official publications intended for young minds. Unfortunately that same disrespect for humankind continues still. Intellectual racial bigotry still speaking with demeaning arrogance. And, believe it or not, the 'tell' always unmask the deception, exposing a bigot.
Today it appears the mask of the Status Quo, mirrors that of John Cotton's 17th century values. “It was God's will that they, (the Puritans,) should inhabit all the world.”This sermon was later published as “The Divine Right to Occupy theLand”, including "Democracy as Detrimental to Church and State" authored and published by John Cotton in 1636. After 376 years of ethnic and racial conditioning in Massachusetts, including the rigidity of some religious doctrines that supports Cotton's views on differing religious beliefs, or an individual whose ancestral DNA origin is the African Continent. Unfortunately many U.S. citizens of European Caucasian ancestry believe themselves superior to all other human beings. It's most likely difficult, as well as, fearful to be stuck mentally an archaic ideology reminiscent of the flat earth society or the dark ages.
OurNational leadership concerns, gave way in (2009). Congressional leadership chose their personal status over meeting the needs of the Country (the debt ceiling) choosing party politics over American Statesmanship. They chose to contemplate personal measurements including that of masculine testosterone identity, from #1 to #2, and the presumed youth of basketball agility and shoe size.
Realizing the number One Spot, no longer a guarantee for the white skinned only. Although the presidential race is about politics, at its core it's personal for both sides. The dynamics for all the marbles, will depend on our understanding of Democracy in America and our personal values, yours and mine, individually and collectively who we really are, or does the future humankind matter?
